In the first five months of this year, the modern chemical industry in Qiannan Prefecture, mainly represented by phosphorus chemical industry, achieved a year-on-year increase of 17.4% in the total industrial output value above designated scale.

In the summer season, the construction of the Guizhou Jiangshan Wengfu New Materials and Electronic Chemicals project with a total investment of about 22 billion yuan is underway in the Fine Chemical Industry Park of Weng'an Economic Development Zone in Qiannan Prefecture. Hu Yunjian, Deputy Director of the Weng'an Economic Development Zone Management Committee, stated that after the project is completed and put into operation, it will further extend the high-end phosphorus chemical industry chain. With the development focus on the two major industrial paths of new energy materials, deep processing of phosphorus resources, and coupled symbiosis, the annual output value of phosphorus chemical industry in Weng'an County has exceeded 10 billion yuan.

Fuquan City seizes the opportunity for the development of new energy materials and leverages the leading role of Guizhou Phosphate Group as the "chain leader" enterprise, gathering more than 130 upstream, midstream and downstream enterprises. Guizhou Chuanheng Chemical Co., Ltd., which specializes in deep processing of phosphorus and fluorine resources, has initially established a circular industry chain based on phosphorus and higher than phosphorus. In the first five months of this year, the city's phosphorus and phosphorus chemical industry achieved an industrial output value of 12.687 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.19%. Zhai Jianxin, a member of the Standing Committee of the Fuquan Municipal Party Committee, said that the value of phosphorus resources has been greatly enhanced by the transformation from traditional phosphorus chemical industry to phosphorus based new energy materials.

Nowadays, more and more phosphorus related enterprises choose to settle in Qiannan Prefecture. Sichuan Chuangxin Lianfeng Chemical Group Co., Ltd. recently decided to increase its investment in Weng'an County and participate in the construction of the fine phosphorus chemical industry park. The chairman of the company, Luo Didong, stated that Qiannan Prefecture has abundant phosphorus and coal resources, a relatively complete industrial chain, and a good industrial foundation, making it an ideal area for developing the phosphorus chemical industry.
